I'm proud to endorse Brian Sher.
I've had the opportunity to know Brian not only through his years of service to our community, but on a much more personal level. I have personally witnessed his character, his integrity, and his unwavering commitment to doing what is right.
When it mattered, Brian didn't hesitate. He listened, he took action, and he stood firmly on the side of justice and protecting others. That experience gave me a level of respect and trust in Brian that goes far beyond his title or his years in law enforcement.
Brian spent more than three decades serving Indianola, including as our Chief of Police, and his commitment to public safety and his community has always been evident.
I know the kind of man Brian Sher is because I've seen it firsthand.

I have had the privilege of knowing Brian Sher for many years, both personally and professionally, and I have also worked with Matt Koch through my role in victim services.
My respect for Brian is deeply personal. During one of the most traumatic times in my life, he was one of my first phone calls. He met me at the courthouse, checked on me in the days that followed, and always made himself available when safety was a concern. Later, as Chief, he continued to put safety above inconvenience and did everything he could to ensure the offender against me was taken into custody.
Professionally, Brian also taught me a tremendous amount when he was a detective about building strong cases, asking the right questions, and never losing sight of the victim behind the case.
Through my work in victim services, I have seen how much strong law enforcement leadership matters. Victims need leaders who take safety seriously, investigators who are thorough, and agencies that work well together.
Brian Sher and Matt Koch are men I know to be experienced, dependable, and committed to the people and communities they serve. The future of Warren County continues to get brighter!
